NEW BUILD – Steeple Ashton

Project aim:

To assist the customer in building their new family home

Description:

Existing 1960s bungalow was demolished and replaced with a new two story detached 4 bedroom modern home.

The new home included a high spec. finish with a number of eco energy systems (air source heat pump, underfloor heating and air source recovery system) alongside an up-to-date full electrical data system.

Special features:

Cedar dormers, oak atrium, oak split landing stair case with full balcony & balustrading), oak by-fold doors and external K Rend finish and the installation of a modern electrical, audio and data plant room.

NEW BUILD – Old Dilton


Project aim:Demolish existing 1930s 3 bed detached and build larger property in its place to high specifications.

Description:

The new build comprised of a natural stone build with numerous architectural features to a high specification.

The property includes an eco-energy system, which includes air source heat pump and underfloor heating, together with an up-to-date full electrical data system.

During all stages of the initial groundworks of the new build we worked with an archaeologist. This was due to the proximity of the nearby church and gravestones to ensure historical grounds were not disturbed.

Special features:

Internal oak beams, stone fire places with full working chimneys, Tudor hip roof with numerous dormers, Easi-joist metal web floor joists, dry stone walling, stone mortar walling and modern treatment plant.

REFURBISHMENT – Ivy Lane School


Project aim:Full refurbishment to the existing dining hall

Description:

The refurbishment includes a full installation of eco LED lighting which was incorporated into a new grid ceiling. Additional structural openings were formed to provide better access to the building. Aluminium windows and swivel doors were installed. All new internal oak doors were installed and the existing WCs were fully refurbished.

Plastering & contemporary decoration was completed throughout.

Special features:

LED lighting on automated microwave sensors, secure electronic (key pad) door entry system and installation of full fire warning system, with control panel and break glass call points.

NEW OFFICES – Prosec Consultancy Ltd

Project aim:

Commercial unit re-fit after full fire damage

Description:

Creation of mezzanine floor into empty shell, including installation of internal office walls. Office space comprising of canteen, large lecture room, commercial grid celling with full electrics.

Plastering and full decoration throughout.

Special features:

Mezzanine floor designed by DACCS, with bespoke timber stair access. Electrical works include eco LED lighting, emergency lights and full automated communal lighting to corridors and store room.

NEW OFFICES – Spectra Specialist Engineering & Coachbuilding Ltd

Project aim:

Build a two story office block within a large commercial workshop & re-fit the whole commercial workshop

Description:

Creation of ground floor offices including reception, canteen, cloakroom (including disabled WC). First floor mezzanine included 2 large offices & a server room. Internal (decorative) finishes in oak including fire doors and windows.

The workshop re-fit includes full commercial electrical wiring and creation of structural openings for large ‘up and over’ commercial doors.

Special features:

Cloakrooms fitted to commercial standard with individual cubicles and urinals. Bespoke steel stair case. Electrical emergency lighting and fire warning systems. Full commercial wiring for large industrial use and heavy duty external drainage system.
